Andrei Kirilenko 2013 Stats: GP: 4, MPG: 13.2, FG%: 42.9% 3FG%: 0%, FT%: 57.9%, RPG: 3.3, APG: 1
RESOLUTION: Hey. Hey there, Andrei. I see you played Tuesday night against the San Antonio Spurs, on your last chance before 2014 even though it was already 2014 in Russia. So happy belated New Year’s, I guess.
I didn’t see much of you. Well, none of us did. You didn’t get a lot of playing time. But boy, you looked good. The first time you touched the ball on offense, you found your old-and-new teammate Deron Williams for a pretty reverse layup. You ran the floor with purpose and changed the game, ever so slightly, with your presence.
It’s hard to give you an on-court resolution since the most important thing for you is that you’re on the court at all. So my resolution for you: find whatever back exercise keeps you loose and spasm-less, and do that every day for the rest of your Nets career.
HIGH POINT: Was there one? Really? He played like seven seconds in four games and was out for the rest of the year until the last day of 2013. The highest point was that he saw the court at all before 2014 hit.
LOW POINT: Every three days when it seemed like Kirileko might actually return until he suffered yet another setback in his rehabilitation.
