Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend the Brooklyn Nets-Cleveland Cavaliers game on December 8th, according to USA TODAY:
Prince William and Kate Middleton – the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – plan to attend the Cleveland Cavaliers-Brooklyn Nets game at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Dec. 8 to help launch a “new collaboration between the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the NBA,” according to the Royal Family’s official website.
The Duke and Duchess are active in United for Wildlife, whose goal is to end illegal wildlife trade. The NBA has been active in animal conservation, too. Tyson Chandler, Pau Gasol and Yao Ming, among others, have been participated in trying to stop illegal wildlife trade.
The last time someone royal attended a Nets game, it was the knighted Sir Paul McCartney, who tried his damndest to get a t-shirt to no avail. Maybe Prince William can buck the trend and pick one up for Kate.
