Nets Video: The Ten Most YouTubable Moments Of The 2011-2012 New Jersey Nets Season

Five months ago, I thought Anthony Morrow would have the best season of his career, Shawne Williams would peg effortless corner threes, Mehmet Okur would fill the center role admirably until Brook Lopez returned in February, and the Nets would have a significant shot at both the playoffs and acquiring Dwight Howard.

Suffice it to say, this isn’t what I expected.

But that’s not to say that we haven’t seen some pretty amazing things, things that make me glad Thomas Jefferson invented the magic box that records moving, talking pictures around the same time John Quincy Adams invented the internet. We’ve seen some cool dunks, some sweet blocks, some moments that make me happy that I love basketball, and some cringe-worthy plays that are too terrible to ignore.

For your enjoyment, we’ve compiled them here, one at a time, in order from #10 to #1.

Firstly, your honorable mentions:

  • Jordan Farmar’s game-winner against the Clippers
  • Humphries & Brooks’s give-and-go behind-the-backs
  • MarShon’s four-point play against the Knicks
  • DeShawn Stevenson breaking Rajon Rondo’s ankles
  • D-Will’s between-the-legs dime & Morrow’s 42
  • Stevenson … to Brooks … to Humphries!
  • Kris Humphries Gumming Blake Griffin

This is the last time I’ll call them this on this blog, ever. Without further adieu, here are the ten (and yes, we take liberties with that number) most YouTubable moments of the 2011-12 season, dedicated to your 2011-12 New Jersey Nets.

    Enjoy.

    Start here for #10…
