According to Yahoo! Sports reporter Adrian Wojnarowski, Brooklyn Nets power forward Reggie Evans has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for his second flopping offense of the season.

Evans is the first player to be fined by the NBA under its new flopping rules. The fine comes with his second warning, which occurred last night after the NBA deemed Evans flopped after contact with Los Angeles Lakers small forward/former Ron Artest, Metta World Peace.

Here’s the video of the most recent infraction:

Evans was warned earlier this year for flopping against the Boston Celtics. The first warning comes with no penalty, the second a $5,000 fine. Evans’s next infraction would net him a $10,000 fine, then $15,000, then $30,000, then a possible suspension if he gets hit for six flops.
