Brooklyn Nets forward Paul Pierce missed the team’s Friday morning shootaround and is considered questionable for tonight’s matchup with the Washington Wizards with an undisclosed illness.
Pierce has shined in the team’s first four games, averaging 20.4 points per 36 minutes on 55.6% shooting and 5-14 (35.7%) shooting on three-pointers.
If Pierce can’t go, Andrei Kirilenko is his expected replacement in the starting lineup.
