No One Blames You, Kid Fast Asleep At Nets-Lakers

Late in the second quarter of Nets-Lakers, Alan Anderson ran in transition for a layup, drawing a foul call. But when he ran into the stands, he ran past someone who couldn’t provide a second opinion on the play: a kid in the midst of a deep nap courtside at Barclays Center.

It’s hard to blame said kid: it’s been a relatively uninteresting game (save a couple of emphatic dunks by Markel Brown and Wesley Johnson), the crowd has been quiet, and the game hasn’t been competitive. So enjoy the nap! Good on dad for not waking him up. He probably had a long week at school figuring out how to draw various animals and beat his friends at kickball. Take the time off. You deserve it.
