In lieu of practice Thursday afternoon, the Brooklyn Nets joined Fort Hamilton service members, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, U.S. Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, and Sony Computer Entertainment America at City Harvest in Long Island City to “sort and pack food donations which City Harvest will deliver to soup kitchens and food pantries across New York City,” according to the NBA.
Here’s some social media from the event:

Silver said Hollins responded: "We do things as a team." So #Nets had every member of the team there as well as entire coaching staff.
