The Brooklyn Nets, flush with an obsessive relationship with quantity, have finalized their coaching staff, with six assistant coaches flanking new head coach Jason Kidd.

Joining the already-announced Lawrence Frank, Roy Rogers, and Eric Hughes as assistants are former Denver Nuggets assistant John Welch, former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Joe Prunty, and former Detroit Pistons assistant Charles Klask. Additionally, the Nets hired Jim Sann (a former New Jersey Nets assistant) as an advanced scout.

Welch, who ran a top-flight, fast-paced offense under George Karl with the Nuggets, is expected to act as “offensive coordinator,” with Frank as lead assistant and “defensive coordinator.” Prunty is a three-time champion as an assistant with the San Antonio Spurs from 1999-2005. Klask is a former assistant under Frank & with Rogers in Detroit. Under Frank, his responsibilities included game-plan preparation, statistical analysis and scouting.

No word on if the Nets will have to move Jay-Z’s courtside seat over to fit their staff.
