Starting small forward Gerald Wallace and backup shooting guard/torturer of terror Jerry Stackhouse are inactive for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, the Brooklyn Nets announced tonight. According to Stackhouse, both are getting the night off for rest, and are not facing health issues.
Wallace missed five games this season before returning Sunday night with a left ankle injury, and Coach Avery Johnson has noted that Stackhouse will be dealing with knee issues all this season. Tonight’s rest seems more precautionary than anything else.
Keith Bogans, who started in Gerald Wallace’s place during Wallace’s ankle injury, will start again tonight.
