Ever wanted to swipe your way to a Nets game with the Brooklyn Nets? Now you can. According to the New York Daily News, the MTA will release Brooklyn Nets-themed MetroCards Monday, with Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Kevin Garnett, and Brook Lopez flanked by the slogan “We Are Brooklyn.”

Barclays Center sits atop the largest subway stop in Brooklyn, with the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R trains all making stops there, as well as the A, C, and G trains within walking distance.

The innovation is the latest development from the market-conscious Nets, who have developed sponsorships for everything from open practices to preseason quarters. The team itself is sponsored by SW24 Security.

According to the report, the cards will be on sale at Barclays Center Monday, and eight other stops for the rest of the week, including at Penn Station… where the New York Knicks play. Well played.

Along with Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, here’s the stations that MTA will make the MetroCards available, according to Barclays Center spokesman Barry Baum:

  • 34 St-Penn Station LIRR A C E
