Ryan Anderson, Brook Lopez’s ex-best-teammate and Nets throw-in to ensure that Vince Carter’s contract would bounce around the league for the following three years, has been named the NBA’s Most Improved Player for the 2011-12 season. Yes, he probably didn’t deserve it (hey there, Nikola Pekovic), but it just serves as yet another reminder that the Nets tossed him away.
No Nets won (nor will win) any official NBA awards, but two Nets made The Hoop Doctors’ list for Top 10 Dunkers in 2012.
