3 P.M. EST Trade Deadline Day has come and gone, and the Brooklyn Nets look the same as yesterday. No Josh Smith, no Ben Gordon, no HBAPiness. The Nets have the same roster they've had essentially all season, and will hold onto their assets at least until the summer.
It was a quiet deadline overall -- the biggest name traded came from the Orlando Magic, who dealt J.J. Redick to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks were potentially working on a deal to acquire Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith, but the Hawks pulled out at the last moment. Smith was not traded.
The Nets play next tomorrow, facing the Houston Rockets in Brooklyn at 7:30 P.M.
