Who was that masked man and what did he do with Nets Deron Williams? This masked man attacked the lane with a purpose previously unseen, hit open jumpers(!!!) and though he didn’t have a great night assist-wise, it was clear tonight he didn’t need to. Dropped 17 in the first half in a season where he’s averaging 16.6 in full games. The numbers weren’t eye-popping, but make no mistake: this was a different Deron tonight.
An boringly efficient game in a blowout. I’ll take it any day.
Mostly quiet day from Wallace — didn’t score, but did a lot of those little things we’ve come to expect from Crash. He hits the floor so much He’s going to dent the herringbone.
Man, it’s nice to play the Bobcats. Brook Lopez decimated Bismack Biyombo and Brendan Haywood inside, getting all of his points near the rim or at the free throw line, and picked up 11 boards before fourth-quarter garbage time kept him on the bench. Yes, it’s against the Bobcats, but you’re never displeased with a 26-11 game with 3 blocks from Lopez — or anyone, really.
The starting lineup looks decent with him in it these days and I’ll leave it at that.
Got some decent minutes for the second straight game and did some things with them, attacking the lane and hitting a few shots. Still the second shooting guard off the bench behind Jerry Stackhouse, but he’s got the mother nature edge over Stack long-term.

Jerry shot 0-4 from the field and was STILL the only member of the bench mob with a positive plus-minus. I’d give him less than an A+ but he’s Jerry freaking Stackhouse and he cares not for insolence.
