Jeremy Lin teams up with Comedy Central in scripted scare skit

In a new Jeremy Lin sketch with Comedy Central, the Brooklyn Nets’ point guard tries to connect with fans and it goes, well, poorly.

Lin, who has become a popular figure in Brooklyn since he signed in July, shows off some surprisingly decent acting chops in the sketch, shooting down idea after idea before they land on candid camera. The video runs through a meet-and-greet stand thats placed outside the Barclays Center and places Lin underneath the booth to scare unsuspecting fans. Instead of shock and then awe, those bystanders curse, yell, and toss things at Lin.

Honestly, I’m just disappointed we’ll never see Jeremy Lin-Manuel Miranda in Slamilton.
