Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez hasa reputation for getting going early in games, and he didn't disappoint in that area in Game 5 against the Chicago Bulls, finishing the quarter with three rebounds and 11 points, four of them on these two dunks.
I remember two years ago, and even last season, where Brook never really displayed emotion on the court. Yeah, he would laugh and high five be a good teammate, but he wasn't really emotional. He never really had big dunks. He never really had big blocks. At least, he never really displayed EXTRA emotion on those types of plays. But late into this season, and this postseason, he's starting to show signs of this kind of emotion. He's starting to have really fun dunks, and really releasing his emotions on these plays. I hope in the next few years, he continues this trend. I really want him to be an emotional leader, like a Tyson Chandler if you will. It may be outside of his character off the court, but I think this team really needs that emotional leader and I think it will make him an even better player.
