The Brooklyn Nets and Hooper, the Detroit Pistons mascot, got into some pregame controversy. While the Pistons weren’t paying attention, the Nets ganged up on Hooper and beat him senseless. Andray Blatche threw him to the ground as he, Tornike Shengelia, Paul Pierce, and more had their way. The beating led to Pistons employees dragging Hooper from the court.
But Hooper later had his revenge on Blatche in pregame, which you can see above. Did the revenge work? Blatche missed all four of his shots in the first quarter and played out of rhythm. Maybe there’s something to it.
