With the Brooklyn Nets set at fourth seed, the team coincidentally listed six players as out tonight:
- Deron Williams (Left knee contusion)
- Joe Johnson (Sore left heel)
- Keith Bogans (Tight lower back)
- Reggie Evans (Sore left shoulder)
- Brook Lopez (Mid back contusion)
- Jerry Stackhouse (Stiff neck)
For those of you keeping track, that’s the entire starting lineup from yesterday afternoon’s game against the Toronto Raptors, plus Jerry Stackhouse. All of these injuries can roughly translate too “The Nets have locked up the fourth seed and have nothing to play for.”
C.J. Watson, MarShon Brooks, Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, and Andray Blatche will start tonight.
