The Nets announced a small change to their starting lineup tonight: power forward Reggie Evans will start in place of Kris Humphries tonight. Humphries had started every game prior to tonight’s contest. started all 62 of his games played last season, and has started in his last 97 games played with the Nets.
Evans may be in the starting lineup tonight because of his chemistry with the now-starting Andray Blatche; when Blatche and Evans play together the team outscores opponents by 11.3 points per 100 possessions. When Humphries & Blatche play together, the Nets get outscored by 7.8 points per 100 possessions.
