No 3-on-3 again for today, but here are some quick thoughts regarding the anticipated arrival of Orlando Magic center and New Jersey Net hopeful Dwight Howard:
- It appears that the Nets are pulling out all the stops for the Dwight show tonight. Let’s just go through the list as given to us by Stefan Bondy and Andy Vasquez.

There also is some laser-light looking thing here at Prudential Center, near where Nets enter the court, that I’ve never, ever seen before.

- The Nets have also planted images of the Barclay’s Center and mentions of Jay-Z’s design plan around the Magic locker room. They say they are just “on trial for Brooklyn.” Suuuuuure.
- On the game at hand, the Nets will be giving Brook Lopez around 24 minutes, while Kris Humphries is out with a sore calf. Sudianta Gaines, who was listed as questionable, will be playing tonight.
- The Nets, of course, are coming off a win in two of their last three games and will hopefully be carrying extra momentum after beating the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. The Magic beat the Bucks on Monday and are winners of five of their last six.
- Things to watch for besides the Dwight Howard fiasco: I’m really excited to see what Jordan Williams will do tonight with extended minutes. Going off nothing but an educated prediction, I look for him and Petro to have equal playing time and I am interested to see what Williams will do in the line-up. I think he has the potential to be a very good big man off the bench and a nuisance in the paint. Tonight, going against Ryan Anderson and Dwight Howard, will be an interesting test. Besides the obvious in Lopez, D-Will and Howard, Jordan Williams will be a guy I will have my eyes on.
Enjoy the game folks. Go Nets!
