Report: Nets gauging interest in Bojan Bogdanovic, want a PG to replace Deron Williams “down the road”

Williams had a down year in Brooklyn, and he might be on the outs should the team find a way to trade him or decide they want out of his contract. But he did finish the season as the most productive passer on the team, averaging one assist per 8.7 passes and 0.26 points created per pass, holding his title as the team’s most productive passer for the second straight year.

All week, we’ve heard rumors about the Nets shopping Mason Plumlee in order to move up in tonight’s draft, but now, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk, they’re also seeing what Bojan Bogdanovic could land them. Just a few weeks ago, it looked like Bogdanovic would be one of the only Nets safe from trade rumors, however, it seems clear that nobody is safe on draft night.

Youngmisuk added that the team is looking to replace Deron Williams “down the road” at point guard:

Tim Bontemps reports that the Nets might be interested in swapping Bogdanovic for the 19th overall pick, which belongs to the Washington Wizards.
