Ever since his pre-season launch-fest on October 14th vs. the Sixers, in which he hit 5-9 three pointers, you know Mirza Teletovic is foaming at the mouth for every opportunity the Nets have to play Philadelphia.
The Sixers rank 25th in opponent three-point field goal percentage this season, and play at the league’s fastest pace, meaning many opportunities for Teletovic to bomb away. Teletovic found a good rhythm in a 6-10 three-point performance Friday night against the Detroit Pistons, and he’s shooting 50 percent on 8.7 three-point attempts per game in three games against Philadelphia this season.
After an ugly February shooting 30.5 from three, Teletovic broke out of his slump, hitting 40.6 percent of his shots from beyond the arc in his last 12 games.
