Garnett, who hasn’t played since February 27th, is a game-time decision tonight. It’s a perfect opportunity for Garnett to get his feet wet again on an NBA court: assuming the Nets handle business, Garnett could play limited minutes and be ready for the big upcoming Florida trip next week.

Though the Nets are 15-6 with rookie Mason Plumlee in the starting lineup this season, he’s hitting a rookie wall: Friday night against the Detroit Pistons, Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe manhandled Plumlee, as the rookie played just 12 minutes and recorded three fouls. A Garnett return would alleviate Plumlee’s load.

But who else’s? The Nets have three big men playing well right now: Andray Blatche, Plumlee, and Mirza Teletovic. With Andrei Kirilenko back on the court and Jason Kidd’s propensity to go small, someone will likely have to get bumped from the rotation.
