According to the NY Post, the Nets have reached an agreement on a two-year deal with No. 54 pick Tornike Shengelia from Georgia.
Shengelia had a $300,000 buyout from his team abroad.
Toko impressed the Nets in summer league enough to make the team, averaging 10.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
This brings the Nets roster count to 13 (once Keith Bogans’s contract becomes official). They remain in the hunt for a backup center.
