The Brooklyn Nets came out guns blazing in the first quarter. The intensity culminated with a beautiful possession: it began with two hustle plays to keep the ball from flying out-of-bounds, and ended with a give-and-go for a Brook Lopez slam. Nobody dribbled more than once, and nobody held the ball for more than a second. Just beautiful basketball.
The Nets jumped out to a quick 31-16 lead sparked by smart defense and sharp shooting.
