Nets bring cheer Brooklyn children’s hospital, rally

On November 4th, the Brooklyn Nets visited Maimonides Infants And Children’s Hospital in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, signing autographs and spending time with children & families before leading a rally outside of the hospital. The team brought memorabilia and good spirits to the children, including one who quite obviously marveled at the sight of Mason Plumlee. One woman speaking to the hospital said the players already felt like family.

Shaun Livingston, Paul Pierce, Mason Plumlee, and Jason Terry spent time at the hospital, along with the Brooklynnettes Dance Team. The BrooklyKnight was also allowed in. Nets PA announcer David Diamante emceed the rally, which had a spirit he called “True Brooklyn.” Nice sentiments. Watch above.
