Nets assistant general manager Frank Zanin, who was hired by former GM Billy King, announced Monday afternoon on Twitter that he will step down from his role with the team. The decision came after a conversation with current GM Sean Marks, who recently hired Trajan Langdon as his assistant general manager.
I would like to thank the Brooklyn Nets for allowing me to be a part of their organization for the past six years.

Zanin was in his sixth year with the Nets and his third as assistant general manager. He got his start with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1999 as a video intern, which is where he developed his relationship with King.
