Markel Brown, Cory Jefferson Recalled By Nets From D-League

Following an indefinite injury to guard Deron Williams, the Brooklyn Nets recalled rookies Markel Brown and Cory Jefferson from the D-League.

Brown played just eight minutes with the Maine Red Claws before injuring his right knee in what looked like an ugly fall, but was diagnosed with only a bruised right knee. Jefferson had played in both games, scoring 21 points and grabbing 20 rebounds over two games.
