Lob City has made its way to Los Angeles. After mostly existing only in Nets post-practice and the wild imaginations of Bosnian Duke students, the Mirza Teletovic-to-Mason Plumlee alley-oop became a reality Saturday night, as Teletovic lobbed something between a bad shot and a great pass to a patient Plumlee, who flushed it down.
Plumlee followed that alley-oop with a second pretty slam from Jason Terry. But was Plumlee done? No, no, no: Plumlee saw an opportunity off an offensive rebound and went sky-high to throw it down.
With the Nets already decimated by injuries, the rookie center’s earning his keep off the bench.
