From Rod Boone of Newsday:
Billy King on Jason Kidd assembling his coaching staff: "I think probably the next couple of days, we’ll make some announcements." #Nets

Kidd has been fervently recruiting former New Jersey Nets head coach Lawrence Frank to join him on his staff, and has said he wants to assemble a staff with significant coaching experience. Roy Rogers is also rumored to be “close” to an agreement with Brooklyn; Rogers worked under Frank in New Jersey, then with him when they were both assistants in Boston, then again as an assistant under Frank in Detroit.
As far as last year’s Nets assistants (Mario Elie, Popeye Jones, Doug Overton, and Patrick Spurgin), there’s still no word on if they’ll be back. But don’t expect Mario Elie.
