Kevin Garnett will rest, Reggie Evans to start in 2 PG lineup

Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd will rest Kevin Garnett in the first game of a five-games-in-eight-nights set, starting Reggie Evans in his place. Deron Williams, Shaun Livingston, Joe Johnson, and Paul Pierce round out the starting lineup, with Evans at center.

I spoke at length this morning about playing Livingston in the starting lineup, as a kind of point-forward point guard hybrid.

Andray Blatche also returns to the Nets tonight, though Kidd elected to start Evans over him.
