Per Al Iannazzone of Newsday and Chris Herring of the Wall Street Journal, covering Kidd’s Milwaukee Bucks as they take on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Jason Kidd does not sound excited about the team’s matchup:
Kidd isn't discussing his return to Brooklyn tomorrow. Says he is focused on the Knicks.

There was an 8- or 9-second pause after Kidd said he wasn't trying to talk about Brooklyn tonight. Lol, so awkward.

OK. So this is a pretty standard Kidd mantra: he never wants to focus on the team beyond that night. But you can hear that awkward silence too, right?
The Bucks take on the Nets in Brooklyn tomorrow at Barclays Center.
