According to an article from Deadspin, a man working at the Barclays Center tweeted out the above photo, immediately causing speculation that it will be soon announced as the new logo for the Brooklyn Nets. Minus the blue tape, the logo is a straight black and white, sleek image that matches the shield design from the Nets #HelloBrooklyn website.
If this is indeed the logo, I love it. Nice, classy design that reminisces little about the red, white and blue Nets logo of today. It also goes well with another classic New York logo and I’m sure you know which one I’m talking about.
