NBA.com’s Lang Whitaker spent a day with NBA Rookies at the league’s official shoot, asking them all sorts of off-the-wall questions. Today, Whitaker releases rookie answers to: what was the last movie that made you cry?
Some of the rookies pretended they’d never cried at a movie (not buying it). But Nets rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson was man enough to admit that yes, a movie made him tear up, and the most recent one to do so was… (drumroll) … Furious 7!
Hollis-Jefferson, who called it “Fast 7,” said “I got emotional… little tear came out, a few.”
For the record: I have never seen Furious 7. But I do know how it ends. And having heard how it ends, occasionally I’ll tear up a bit just thinking about it, or hearing that song on the radio. So yes, I understand, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
(Seriously, the NBA season can’t start soon enough.)
