…aaaaaaaaaaaaand cue the last two weeks. The Brooklyn Nets announced today that starting small forward Gerald Wallace is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. The Nets start their three-game west coast trip tomorrow before playing the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Coach Avery Johnson has said on numerous occasions that the Nets will bring Wallace back when he’s ready, regardless of opponent, but Sacramento is not a dominating opponent and I imagine they’ll want him healthy for Tuesday against the Lakers. Even if he does play Sunday, I presume it’ll be in limited minutes.
