With the 41st overall pick in the NBA Draft, the Brooklyn Nets selected Pat Connaughton from Notre Dame. If he makes the team, he’ll likely backup Joe Johnson and Bojan Bogdanovic. Connaughton is a crafty shooting guard that left his mark during Notre Dame’s deep run in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The Connaughton Era in Brooklyn is, unfortunately, short-lived. He was packaged with Mason Plumlee and sent to Portland for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Steve Blake.
