Deron Williams wins Eastern Conference Player of the Week

8: The Nets took care of the ball against the Thunder, turning it over just eight times all game. It was impressive to watch considering a major piece in Brook Lopez got his first go of the season. The chemistry on the offensive end showed.

The NBA has named Deron Williams Eastern Conference Player of the Week — the first time he’s done that as a Net.

For the week November 8-14, Williams had an average of 20.8 points, 7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 37.3 minutes. He shot 56.9 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from three-point range, and 82.6 percent from the free throw line.

In all four games he led the team in assists and minutes played.
