Deron Williams wins Eastern Conference Player of the Week

The NBA has named Deron Williams Eastern Conference Player of the Week — the first time he’s done that as a Net.

For the week November 8-14, Williams had an average of 20.8 points, 7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 37.3 minutes. He shot 56.9 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from three-point range, and 82.6 percent from the free throw line.

In all four games he led the team in assists and minutes played.
