Deron Williams Misses Practice For Tests on Sore Left Side

Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams sat out of the team’s Thursday afternoon practice, and was not with the team while getting “tests” on his sore left side, according to reporters at Nets practice.

Williams’s left side has been tricky since Sunday night, when he injured it on two separate occasions during the team’s 88-84 loss to the Miami Heat. He was listed as “probable” Monday before sitting out against the Dallas Mavericks, then listed as “doubtful” Wednesday and was activated two hours before the game, leaving the floor for good after re-aggravating the injury four minutes into his playing time. Williams left the arena midway through the fourth quarter.

We will update you on Williams’s test results as information becomes available.
