Deron Williams notched 14 points 6 assists, and 8 rebounds in just 18 minutes as Besiktas defeated Italy’s Montepaschi Siena in an exhibition match, 93-91. The matchup was D-Will’s first live basketball (exhibition or otherwise) since agreeing to terms with Besiktas back in July.
The first “official” Besiktas matchup isn’t scheduled until September 27th, but Deron nonetheless got right to work – he only landed in Turkey two days ago.
