Brooklyn Nets season ticket prices cut after last year’s spike

Brooklyn Nets season tickets are on sale for the 2015-16 season, some with a steep discount. Atlantic Yards Report did a comprehensive dig into the numbers, finding that season tickets have declined noticeably following the team’s lackluster performance this year. The tally, from Norman Oder of Atlantic Yards Report:

In no section–note that several courtside sections are not being put on sale–have the most expensive tickets become more costly, which suggests that any price increases are within the middle level of sections.

  • Dark Blue seats are now $125-$195, down from $135-$195.
  • Brown are now $110-$195, down from $125-$195.
  • Light green remain $99-$195
  • Tan are now $99-$125, down from $99-$135.
  • Red remain $89-$99.
  • Gold are $35-$99, down from $50-$99.
  • Aqua are $25-$60, down from $45-$89.
  • Orange are $25-$45, down from $45-$70.
  • Gray are $35-$60, down from $50-$80.
  • Light Blue are $25-$45, down from $45-$70.

They’ve also put middle lower bowl seats on sale:

  • Dark Pink — $385-$450
  • Light Pink — $315
  • Dark Purple — $375-$400
  • Light Purple — $225-$235
  • Cyan — $180
  • Yellow — $150-$225

Atlantic Yards Report also noted that the cheapest seats offered by the Nets — $15 tickets in their first year, and $25 in their second — are not available, and remaining tickets begin at $35 per seat.
