In this year’s draft, the Brooklyn Nets sit at a comfortable 22nd slot. Yes, it is not a lottery pick. Yes, that is extremely weird. Yet, it means that Nets are also in an interesting position -—they’re not expected to pick a player that will reinvigorate or save the franchise; they might not even select someone with an immediate impact. At 22nd, the Nets have total freedom, but who will they choose?

Once out of the lottery, mock drafts vary greatly, and most have the Nets taking a different player. Here are five players that five recent mocks have Brooklyn selecting. To give you an idea of just how varied it gets, all five players play a different position. The Nets could do anything!
