Kris Humphries lost his starting role. Then his rotation minutes. The logical conclusion: now Humphries is involved in the first of what should be numerous trade rumors. The Bobcats, who heavily targeted Humphries this summer, is looking to trade for the forward, which should tell you everything you need to know about Kris’ season so far.

He’s fallen out of the rotation in favor of Reggie Evans (who has colder hands than a statue) and has begun losing time to Mirza Teletovic (who had an airball streak longer than minutes played last week). Humphries’ contract was structured as a trade asset, and the Brooklyn Nets have wasted no time exploring it.

As of late, Humphries has played some nice minutes — most notably against the Knicks — and but needs to turn it around, and quick, or he’ll be packing his bags for Charlotte or elsewhere.
