You might say Brook & Robin Lopez live in their own fantasy world. They’re multi-millioniare gargantuan twins from surfer-boy California who read (sometimes draw!) fantasy/adventure novels and consider a trip to Disneyland a fine excursion.

So it shouldn’t surprise you that the twins are helping keep the fun, fantasy, and education alive for the children of their hometown Fresno, California. The Lopezes recently teamed up to donate $25,000 to a rebuilding effort for Fresno’s Storyland/Playland, a dual literary & education-themed amusement park.

According to the Fresno Bee, the park closed this past March with $850,000 needed in repairs. Storyland reopened this month and Playland is on track for spring 2016, though they’re still around $350,000 short.

“It’s important to preserve things like Storyland that give kids a chance to just be kids,” Brook Lopez says. “I am very excited to be part of Storyland’s rebirth.”

Robin Lopez adds, “Storyland was a great part of us growing up in Fresno and I am so glad we are able to help bring it back to life.”
