With the Nets nearing the end of their 20-day, nine-game circus trip, interim head coach Tony Brown has elected to give Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez a rest day. Both will sit out Saturday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Willie Reed and Thomas Robinson will replace Lopez and Young in the starting lineup. Saturday marks Reed’s first career start and Lopez’s fifth.

Prior to tonight, Lopez and Young were the only two Nets players who had started all of the team’s 62 games. The two lead the team in points per game (20.5 and 15.0, respectively) and rebounds per game (8.1 and 9.1).
