Brook Lopez followed up one of his best games of the season with another dominating offensive performance, dropping 26 points on 11 of 14 shooting. Lopez spent most of the game shooting a variety of floaters and jumpers, capping the night with a 21-footer from the top of the key.
Lopez also held his own on the defensive end as a rim protector, swatting four shots. Lopez has struggled in the past to defend when put in pick-and-rolls and drawn away from the rim, but had no issue turning back any of the Pacers, from their slashers to their Hibberts.
None of his plays mirrored Thaddeus Young’s emphatic dunk in the first quarter. There were no incredible offensive highlights. But Lopez converted open looks time and time again, putting up big production for the second straight game.
