Brook Lopez reportedly dropped 15 pounds this offseason, slimming down for a new shot at staying healthy after playing just 17 games last season before suffering a fractured foot. Now, Lopez is teaming up with actress Keke Palmer to help kids in New York City make better, healthier decisions as they go back to school.

From All Hip Hop:

Palmer and Lopez will take part in a nutrition education summit at Opportunity Charter School. The host of Just Keke and the NBA All-Star will speak to the teens about sports nutrition, super foods, how to avoid diet-related diseases, and more. Students will also get the chance to take a pledge to live healthier by making one healthy choice at a time.

The Change One Thing Back-to-School Tour featuring Keke Palmer and Brook Lopez is scheduled for today, September 23 at 11 am. For more information visit www.foodbanknyc.org.
