Brian Shaw is one of the hotter commodities on this year’s coaching market, and the reports keep coming. Tom Leyden of WXYZ news reports that Shaw has been contacted by the Detroit Pistons about their head coaching job.
Like with the Brooklyn Nets, the Pistons won’t be able to speak directly with Shaw about the position until Indiana gets eliminated from the playoffs.
Shaw, who’s been an assistant coach since 2004 with the Los Angeles Lakers and Indiana Pacers, is also a coaching candidate for the Brooklyn Nets (though you can guess what Leyden accidentally calls them).
