After scoring just three points and not hitting a single field goal in the team’s preseason opener, Bojan Bogdanovic did not practice for two straight days with a sore right ankle. Now, according to Tim Bontemps of the New York Post, Bogdanovic will stay in the New York area while the team travels to Detroit to play a preseason game against the Pistons.

Bogdanovic has never missed a game with a right ankle problem, and a sore ankle doesn’t sound like a serious injury. Still, Bogdanovic projects as the team’s starting shooting guard, so we’ll keep you updated on how this develops.
