Beau Beech, a 6’9 small forward from Northern Florida, will join the Brooklyn Nets roster for the Las Vegas Summer League, first reported by the team on Twitter.
Beech averaged 15.9 points and 6.5 rebounds over 32 minutes per game for the Ospreys in 2015-2016, leading the team to a 22-12 record. As the roster stands, the Nets only have Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Sean Kilpatrick as small forwards under contract, so Beech will have plenty of opportunity to shine this summer.
For those that missed out on A-SUN action last season, here’s a short highlight reel of Beech on the court:
Beech joins Yogi Ferrell and Isaiah Whitehead on the roster thus far. Although Caris LeVert says he’s unlikely to play in Summer League, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Chris McCullough, Markel Brown, and Sean Kilpatrick should all make the journey out west to begin working alongside new head coach Kenny Atkinson.
