Andrei Kirilenko, on his health: "Right now, it's too early to say anything. But I'm aiming for Friday. Tomorrow's game is unlikely." #Nets

After missing most of the pre-season with back spasms, Brooklyn Nets forward Andrei Kirilenko was placed on the inactive roster last night in anticipation of tomorrow night’s opener in Cleveland. While Kirilenko seems close to returning at 100%, the Nets say he’s still unlikely to play on Wednesday after practicing fully with the team today. Presumably, Alan Anderson or Mirza Teletovic will receive Kirilenko’s minutes if he is unable to go.
Kirilenko and the Nets target Friday night’s game against LeBron James and defending NBA Champions, the Miami Heat, for his return.
